ACC Sprint Finale – Spa Race 1

December 2, 2019 - ACC Sprint Finale - Spa Race 1 Driver Classification Updates: Dave Slee: First race, to Silver Jux Edgar: Name updated to Steve Poe The subsequent reports will be written with these changes included. Race 1 Pro - A rainy qualifying 1 shuffled the order, with Bubba Jones, Don Bélanger and Austin Vicari all starting well down the order. Josh Staffin, John Paul Hidalgo and Keith Briscoe held their respective starting positions with a clean run up Raidillon. Jones had to take to the run-off to avoid Steve Poe (Silver) spinning in front of him, dropping from 9th to 11th. Vicari capitalized on the incident to move up to 8th overall. With Staffin struggling up Raidillon, Hidalgo took the lead on lap 2 and promptly opened a gap. MNRL ’74 911 at Snetterton

November 19, 2019 - Car troubles would see points leader Joe Miller sit out the Snetterton races. Jason Whited took advantage of the situation and with wins in both races, took back his championship points lead. Gilles Lalonde took P2 in both races. Pete Holm and Aaron Page were both able to grab their first overall podium of the series finishing P3 in respective races. In seniors division, Race 1 podiums were as follows. P1 - Pete Holm P2 - Jerry Hamilton P3 - Aaron Page. And in Race 2 it was Aaron Page taking the P1 spot, followed by senior points leader Jerry Hamilton in P2, and Pete Holm rounding out the top 3. ACC Sprint – Zolder Race 1

November 18, 2019 - Driver Classification Updates: Jux Edgar: First race, to Silver - still under review The subsequent reports will be written with these changes included. Pro - Pros all hold station for the first 4 laps with John Paul Hidalgo hounding Bubba Jones for 2nd. Lap 5, Josh Staffin hit the anti-cut at the exit of the second chicane and dropped back towards the pack. On lap 6, Hidalgo clipped grass going into turn 2, falling behind Don Bélanger, followed by a spin entering the first chicane, losing another place to Keith Briscoe. Two laps later, Briscoe also spun in the first chicane, falling behind Hidalgo and Ricardo Navon (Silver). Briscoe then slid into turn 3 on lap 14, hitting the barriers and dropping further down the order, behind JT Tami (Silver) and Eric Andersen (Silver). ACC Sprint – Zolder Race 2

November 18, 2019 - Results from the event. Pro - John Paul Hidalgo and Josh Staffin led the field into the first lap, staying side-by-side through the entire first sector; when they arrived at the 1st chicane, Staffin took to the kerb and yielded the lead. Bubba Jones was chasing down Don Bélanger in 3rd, with Keith Briscoe having to defend from Jux Edgar (Silver) and falling away from the frontrunners. Staffin was struggling to match Hidalgo in the early stages, eventually falling back towards Bélanger and Jones behind. Laps went by with things remaining fairly calm; by lap 13 Staffin and Hidalgo had reopened a small gap to the cars behind, but it all came to a peak when Staffin tapped the rear of Hidalgo coming out of the second chicane, sending him into a spin. NARS at Sonoma

November 14, 2019 - As the NARS Autumn series winds down, an infrequently visited track was the venue for Race 6: Sonoma. A decent sized grid attendanece (especially compared to the two previous races) made for some extra excitement. Over the course of the past few weeks, the Group A Senna has lost favor and the drivers have chosen to migrate back to their more comfortable surroundings – a GT3 cockpit. Elliot Budzinski took the pole spot with a 1:31.482 best lap. The race was met with a higher than usual attrition rate, no-doubt in part because of the rough track surface (the Corvettes looked like they were on pogo sticks). At the checkered flag, points went to JT Tami followed by Tyler Alan and Christopher Snow on the podium. Results

MNRL F1 95 at Silverstone

November 12, 2019 - While it seems simplistic on the surface, Silverstone always proves itself a great challenge for drivers. Round 4 of the MNRL F1 95 Series was held there. Joe Miller took the pole, but thus far dominating driver in the series, Allan Hellmann stole the show and the race with another convincing win. Frank McCurdy took P2 and Joe Miller rounded out the overall top 3. In seniors division, Peter Holm grabbed his first win of the series. Tony Boynton was also able to clinch a podium spot, finishing in P2, followed by Seniors points leader Jerry Hamiliton in P3. The challenging Nurburgring circuit is next on the schedule after a short one week Thanksgiving break for the teams. Results

MNRL ’74 911 at Ibarra (reverse layout)

November 5, 2019 - Joe Miller steals the championship points lead from Jason Whited with back to back wins at Ibarra. Brette Brooks managed 2 podiums in the two races, finishing P3 in Race 1 and P2 in Race 2. Even though he lost the points lead, Jason Whited was able to grab 2 podium spots as well, finishing P2 and P3 respectively. In Seniors division, Bill Brehm took back to back wins, returning to MNRL with style. He was followed by Pete Holm and Aaron Page, rounding out the top 3 in Race 1. In Race 2, Jerry Hamilton took the runner up spot and Pete Holm followed closely, ending up in P3. With two rounds remaining, and a mere 3 point difference at the front of the championship standings, an exciting finish to this series is all but written in stone. November 4, 2019 - Driver Classification Updates: Miguel Valenzuela: from AM to Silver Dominic Guerin: First race, to Silver - still under review Jon Uyan: from Pro to Silver Ricardo Navon: from Pro to Silver The reports below will be written with these changes included. Pro - Race 2 had chaos at the start, with Bubba Jones rushing on the formation lap to regain his proper starting position after a disconnect between races. As the lights went green, a poor start from Jones and Josh Staffin saw them fall away from John Paul Hidalgo in the lead, with Keith Briscoe taking full advantage by moving down the inside of the pair into turn 1 into 2nd place. Pro - Josh Staffin and Bubba Jones showed their dominance around Hungaroring, starting cleanly from the front and keeping out of trouble. Their race became a war of attrition, with the gap between the pair never extending beyond 2 seconds. John Paul Hidalgo and Keith Briscoe had penalties to serve at the start, dropping to back at the end of lap 1 and out of contention for the lead. With Briscoe pitting and the top two pulling away, Don Bélanger secured a lonely race in 3rd. NARS GT3 at Zolder

October 31, 2019 - It was an all GT3 Halloween edition of NARS Autumn racing at Zolder. Imported McLaren Senna drivers from Group A decided to put on another hat and run with the Group B drivers in GT3 this time around. Sure enough, JT Tami took the win followed by the always fast GT3 drivers Jon Uyan and Jason Whited. MNRL F1 95 Series at Magny-Cours

October 29, 2019 - After back-to-back DNF's in the first two rounds of the MNRL F1 '95 series, Jason Whited managed a surprising win at Magny-Cours. Bob Williams pulled out a nice second place finish, with Bruno Mancebo rounding out the podium. Points leader Allan Hellmann took and early and commanding lead, but soon ran into troubles that forced him to retire early. Jerry Hamilton won in the seniors division, taking the championship points lead in the process. Peter Holm took P2, with Aaron Page rounding out the seniors podiums in P3. The series heats up as we move into Round 4, which will take place at Silverstone in two weeks time. New but familiar faces move into the points battle as others face struggle. It's far from over. MNRL ’74 911 at Cadwell Park

October 22, 2019 - Cadwell Park is quite a unique racing circuit. So unique and challenging in fact, many don't even believe cars are raced on such a narrow, windy road until they see it for themselves. Joe Miller proved he was up to the challenge with double wins in the '74 Porsche 911 on Tuesday night, while points leader Jason Whited took double P2s and Tyler Alan followed suit with a string of P3s rounding out the podium. In the Seniors Division, Aaron Page also stepped up for the challenge taking the win in both races. Jerry Hamilton and Tony Boynton rounded out the top 3 in both events. The points battle is very close and with much of the season still left to be played out, anything could happen. ACC Sprint – Misano Race 2

October 21, 2019 – Results of the Misano Race by classes. Pro - The battle for the lead may not have been as chaotic as Race 1 with only 2 drivers edging out a gap to the rest of the field, but the racelong battle between Josh Staffin and Bubba Jones showcased excellent racing from both drivers. Jones led into turn 1, but lost it after Staffin moved down the inside into turn 4. With John Paul Hidalgo and Jon Uyan coming together on lap 2 and no other driver able to match the pace of the leading pair, the fight for 3rd was on. Keith Briscoe got tagged by JT Tami (Silver) in lap 1, falling to the back with Tami. Don Bélanger drove well to maintain a gap over 4th placed Ricardo Navon, guaranteeing 3rd place. ACC Sprint – Misano Race 1

October 21, 2019 – Results of the Misano Race by classes. Pro - Misano offered a real treat, with a massive collection of overtakes and a race win that any driver could have taken; Jon Uyan and Josh Staffin were the first to drop out of contention, with Uyan retiring and Staffin getting disqualified for cutting. John Paul Hidalgo had an early spin but a spectacular second half of the race, while Keith Briscoe, Don Bélanger, Bubba Jones and Ricardo Navon all fought for the podium spots. It all came down to the final lap though, as Hidalgo showed his pace and overtook Briscoe on the final lap, with Navon and Bélanger falling back through the constant battling. NARS Autumn at Sentul

October 17, 2019 - Race 2 of NARS Autumn was held at Sentul International, a very fast sweeping track. Greg Hall took the pole in Group A (McLaren Senna cars) and Jon Uyan took the pole for Group B (GT3 cars). At the start, the McLaren's bolted away as expected and the GT3's had quite a dice getting through the first several corners. At the end, it was Group A's JT Tami besting Greg Hall with John Nelson running in 3rd. In Group B, Jon Uyan took the win followed by Mark Cotherman and Jason Whited. Results

MNRL F1 95 Series at Barcelona

October 15, 2019 - Allan Hellmann won the second round of the MNRL F1 95 series. Two races, two wins in this series, and Allan is proving himself to be a top driver in the open wheel discipline. Frank McCurdy and Joe Miller had an exciting battle for second, with Frank McCurdy narrowly coming out on top again. In the Senior's Division, Denis Turcotte took P1 with Jerry Hamilton and Frank Radosti not far behind. Round 3 will take place at Magny-Cours. It is a circuit that will provide an intense challenge to the drivers (as if the car itself was not enough). The Championship battles are just heating up, and with a few usual front runners struggling early on, expect potential curve-balls to be thrown throughout the series. Results

NARS Autumn Starts Retro

October 10, 2019 - Race 1 of the NAR Autumn Series for rFactor 2 was held on the sunny sands of Bridgehampton. Each NARS series typically includes one "throw back track" but this time around it opened with Lilski's ported AC masterpiece, Bridgehampton. Coupled with the new hypercar McLaren Senna and the favorite GT3s, the opening round was fast-paced. Real fast-paced. Qualifying pole was won by Greg Hall in the hypercar, with Jon Uyan setting the pole pace for the GT3s. For the always precarious standing start, the McLaren Senna's were predictably off like a rocket followed by the GT3s. There were no (serious) incidents between hypercars and GT3s but the GT3s had a tussle early on and several drivers has to park their cars for the night due to incident or mechanical damage. MNRL ’74 911 Challenge at Brands Hatch

October 8, 2019 - Races 2 and 3 in the '74 911 Challenge Series took place Tuesday at Brands Hatch. Jason Whited qualified on pole, showing his desire to keep the streak alive after winning both races in the first round of the series. He managed to win the first race of the night, but the inverse grid and an incident involving multiple cars near the top of the running order put an early end to any chance of doubling down on this night. Gilles Lalonde was able to capitalize on the inverse grid in Race 2. He took an early lead and maintained it to the end, leading all but the first two laps of the race. Joe Miller secured P2 in both races, gaining all important points for the championship. He also maintains second in championship standings at this time. Tyler Alan rounded out the podium in > more
