May 20, 2021 – Excitement was high as the racing teams, drivers and fans flocked to Silverstone on a dreary race weekend for the inaugural event of the NARS GT1 short series. 30 cars, including 6 teams of paired PRO and AM drivers ensured that the paddock was abuzz with activity as work was completed to get the cars and drivers ready for their first racing test.  The weather throughout the week varied from cool, dry, and sunny to heavily overcast and steady rain, giving each team major headaches in tuning their cars for the track and conditions.

TCR/MX-5 Club Series at Silverstone

Race Report by Tim Collier

April 22, 2020 – As with last week’s race at the Historic Barcelona layout, this week the TCR/MX-5 Series would take a trip back in time to the 2008 layout of Silverstone’s Grand Prix circuit for a 30-minute duel in the sun.

The start was clean, but positions were definitely gained and lost between Turns 1 and 6, and upfront Szabelski would lead lap 1 with Dave Slee moving up to second and David […]

MNRL F1 95 at Silverstone

November 12, 2019 – While it seems simplistic on the surface, Silverstone always proves itself a great challenge for drivers. Round 4 of the MNRL F1 95 Series was held there.

Joe Miller took the pole, but thus far dominating driver in the series, Allan Hellmann stole the show and the race with another convincing win.

Frank McCurdy took P2 and Joe Miller rounded out the overall top 3.

In seniors division, Peter Holm grabbed his first win of the series. Tony Boynton was also able to clinch a podium spot, finishing in P2, followed by Seniors points leader Jerry Hamiliton in P3.

The challenging Nurburgring circuit is next on the schedule after a short one week Thanksgiving break for the teams.
