Penguin r/c Simulation Announces Prize Package for 2025 iRTES Championship
We are very excited to announce that for the 5th consecutive year, Penguin r/c Simulation will return as a title sponsor for our iRacing Team Endurance Series (iRTES) Championship. They have been a staple in the series and have provided tremendous support and prizes for our series teams and drivers over the years. CMS Endurance Team Announces 2025 iRTES lineup
The Champion Motorsports endurance iRacing team is excited to announce our 2 entries into the 2025 iRacing Team Endurance Series (iRTES). Our two cars will be competing in the GT3-AM Championships, and will mark the return of us looking to defend our season ending podium position from last season. The first car will be driven by returning drivers Kevin Ayers and Zach Stermhagen and they will be joined by CMS Endurance team newcomer Connor Webb. The team will pilot the GT3 Corvette. The second car will be a new team together for the first time, anchored by CMS endurance team veterans Brian Blanchette and David Nelson. They will be joined by Maximillian Putrfaki and KC O'Brien who joins the team after being with another entry last season. Liveries of both cars for the season opener at Road America are unveiled here for review:
Julian Cecot wins CMS 25th Anniversary GT4 Rennsport Open Beta Championship
Congratulations to Julian Cecot for winning the Champion Motorsports, 25th anniversary , Rennsport Open Beta celebration league. As part of 25 great years of simracing we have been hosting various special events and series across the community and thanks to the Rennsport team they were able to setup a really fun series for us with GT4 cars both Audi and BMW at four great tracks for us to experience the new sim in development and have something special to offer our new and existing members. The winners of each race were as follows, with Cecot separating himself from the others with two wins at Fuji and Nürburgring. CMS announces Rennsport Open Beta League for our 25th Anniversary Celebration
Champion Motorsports, one of the largest simracing communities in the world, with nearly 4000 members, is celebrating our 25th anniversary this year. We are excited to offer a four race season to celebrate with the new Open Beta of Rennsport. We will be racing the GT4 cars at four iconic tracks and will crown a Champion. CMS will award a trophy to the winner that participates in the Championship and is also a member of the CMS discord. The season will begin with the first race at Hockenheim on August 25th at 18:00 CEST and will conclude on September 15th at Nürburgring. We hope that many of you will join us and celebrate this great new sim and our community's 25th year. Afonso Souto Takes the Feature Win in 2024 Porsche Cup Season Opener at Spa
Story by Afonso Souto Images by David Anderson January 30th, 2024 - The first round of the 2024 CMS iRTES Cup Series is done and we had a fun and fiesty one at Spa-Francorchamps. This year's championship brought a new format with a random grid order for the first race of the day. This contributed to an action packed first race. With a car missing the start, we had chaos down into the first corner. Paul Darling took advantage of the confusion and rocketed into the lead, where he stayed the rest of the race. That meant the the 56 Porsche got pole position for the longer 45 minute race. This time around, the grid got through La Source cleanly but that doesn't mean that there was no action.
