CMS GT3 Sprint at Mosport – Alessandri wins two in a row, Norton takes AM win and overall podium!
by Tim Collier With 5 races in the bag, the Champion Motorsports GT3 Sprint Series headed North to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport Park), a multi-track motorsports facility located in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. It was one of the first permanent road racing circuits in Canada and has played host to various high-level motorsports events including the Canadian Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Mosport endurance race. Both Pro and AM class drivers were equally fast in practice, and with 38 cars in qualifying, starting spots were incredibly important. In the AM class, Edward Nelson would grab the pole and the 8th overall starting spot.
