The 2025 iRacing Team Endurance Series kicked things off in Wisconsin at Road America on Sunday Nov. 3rd. Known as ‘America’s Nation Park of Speed’, the 4.048-mile, 14-turn, Grand Prix layout was an excellent venue for the 60 race teams to get to know one another. With ample overtaking opportunities it allowed the multi-class grid to showcase what endurance racing is all about—traffic management.

Qualifying got underway with an overcast sky and a cool 64 degrees. Getting the tires up to operating temperature and avoiding the easy 1x off track penalty would prove to be difficult. Quite a few teams would see their best laps erased due to these critical errors.

With the checkered flag waving, the field was set, and the nerves began to build as the opening round was ready to start the clock on the 4hrs at Road America.

After 4 hours of spectacular racing action, the series opener was complete. Despite the high speeds and high emotions, each team showed respect throughout the race. The interclass mingling was predictable and smooth.

The competition was fierce throughout the entire field. Battles raged on across the track, action at every turn. This is what league racing is all about, competition. To have 60 teams lineup and go racing, each with the same desire and dedication, truly is special. If any of the remaining 5 rounds come close to this, we are in for a magical season.
