Season 6 ended exactly where endurance championships should end: with the title contenders having to settle it themselves.

GermanPitbullzRacing Alpha and PCA Sim Racing 963 arrived at St. Petersburg tied 67-67 in GTP. Quokka Racing and Moradness Squad arrived tied 67-67 in GT3 after the Red Bull Ring stewarding changes. There was no points cushion to protect and no complicated championship math required at the front. Finish ahead, and the title was there to take.

When the 3-hour, 20-minute finale was over, the two teams that won St. Petersburg also owned the two championships.

GermanPitbullz Leaves No Doubt

The GTP title fight had been almost perfectly balanced for two months. PCA won Homestead with GermanPitbullz second. GermanPitbullz answered at Red Bull Ring with PCA second. Both teams came to Florida on 67 points, each with one victory and one runner-up finish.

St. Petersburg broke the tie emphatically.

The #50 GermanPitbullz Porsche 963 started from pole, completed 171 laps, led 161 of them and finished the entire race with zero incidents. Leon Friedrisczyk set the team's fastest lap at 1:07.239, while Christopher Kindler carried 94 laps of the workload and Friedrisczyk 77.

PCA Sim Racing 963 did almost everything a championship contender could reasonably ask of itself. The #14 Porsche completed 169 laps with only two incidents. Chad Henson ran 116 laps and Christopher Paiz 53. But on this day, GermanPitbullz was simply too complete: faster, cleaner and two laps ahead at the finish.

The Organization Racing entered the weekend with a mathematical title path after back-to-back third-place finishes and topped FP1 a week earlier. The opportunity ended almost immediately. The BMW completed only one lap before disconnecting. It is nevertheless classified third in GTP in the supplied export and receives 30 points, leaving the team third in the final championship on 90.

cmsracing.com Titanium did not complete a lap in the finale. The season therefore ends with GermanPitbullz on 102, PCA on 99 and The Organization on 90.

Quokka Turns Preparation into a Championship

If the GTP victory was dominant, Quokka's GT3 championship was the culmination of a season built on never disappearing from the front.

Quokka finished second at Homestead. It was promoted to the Red Bull Ring victory after Moradness' post-race Code 60 penalty. That stewarding decision transformed the finale from a six-point chase into a 67-67 dead heat.

A week before the race, Quokka had already sent a message in FP1. John Marjoribanks and Christian Youngwall occupied the top two GT3 positions on the practice sheet and combined for 97 laps of preparation. On Sunday, that work converted directly into the biggest result of their season.

The #27 Lamborghini completed 163 laps with eight incidents and set a best of 1:11.967. Youngwall handled 110 laps and Marjoribanks 53. No GT3 rival completed more laps.

PCA Sim Racing GT3 delivered its best feature result of the year at exactly the right time, finishing second on the same overall lap count of 163 with only two incidents. Jordan Heppell completed 111 laps and produced a 1:12.030 best, while Justin St John added 52 laps.

Team Brake Fade completed 162 laps and secured third in the finale. That podium was enough to elevate the McLaren to second in the final championship on 84 points, only one ahead of PCA GT3's 83.

cmsracing.com AM Finishes the Comeback

One of the strongest late-season stories belonged to cmsracing.com AM.

Homestead was effectively lost before the team could establish a normal race rhythm. Red Bull Ring changed the trajectory with a seventh-place feature and only 14 incidents. St. Petersburg finished the transformation.

Drew Lidkea and Lance Williams combined for 162 laps, only one fewer than the GT3 leaders. Williams recorded the team's fastest lap at 1:12.291, and the Porsche accumulated only two incidents while finishing fourth in class.

The result moves cmsracing.com AM to 68 championship points and seventh in the final standings. More importantly, the last two rounds established the team as something very different from what the Homestead score alone suggests.

The Clean Finishers Shine on the Street Course

St. Petersburg did not produce the incident-heavy finale that a wall-lined street circuit could easily have created for several teams.

Longhorn Racing Chrome completed 161 laps with zero incidents, securing fifth in GT3 and, with only 16 incidents across all three rounds, the season's GT3 Clean Team Award.

SimHQ Motorsports WHITE also produced a 0x finale, completing 160 laps in sixth. Shawn Harvey handled 109 of them, continuing a season in which he carried a major share of the Ferrari’s driving workload.

ThumbTech Motorsport completed 159 laps with four incidents. Dark Thunder Racing finished 151 laps with 13 incidents, giving Matthew Overton the second start he needed to become eligible in the 50+ competition.

A Season Told in Three Completely Different Races

Homestead — Execution and Track Position

The four-hour opener established the fundamental championship rivalry. PCA Sim Racing 963 won GTP after GermanPitbullz led more laps and showed greater raw speed. Moradness Squad won GT3, Quokka finished second, and the series immediately established that track position and clean execution would matter as much as outright pace.

Red Bull Ring — Weather, Strategy and Stewarding

Austria asked a completely different question. The five-hour race moved from dry conditions into roughly 90 minutes of steady rain, triggered the season's major Code 60 weather test, then dried again. GermanPitbullz converted its speed into the GTP win. The GT3 result was later reshaped by post-race stewarding: Moradness' 30-second Code 60 penalty promoted Quokka to the victory, while a 25-second penalty moved Team Brake Fade behind Longhorn Chrome and SimHQ.

St. Petersburg — Precision

The finale removed the weather variable and replaced it with walls, short laps and constant multiclass traffic. The answer was not aggression for aggression's sake. The defining performances were remarkably disciplined: GermanPitbullz 0x, Longhorn Chrome 0x, SimHQ 0x, PCA GTP 2x, PCA GT3 2x and cmsracing.com AM 2x.

Season 6 therefore finished with three races that rewarded three different endurance skills: execution, adaptation and precision.

The Champions

GermanPitbullzRacing Alpha — 2026 GTP Champion, 102 points. Two victories, one second, 545 completed team laps and 25 season incidents. Christopher Kindler and Leon Friedrisczyk competed in all three points races and qualify for the personalized championship awards alongside the Team Manager.

Quokka Racing — 2026 GT3 Champion, 102 points. Two victories, one second, 510 completed team laps and 44 season incidents. Christian Youngwall and John Marjoribanks competed in all three championship rounds and qualify for the personalized championship awards alongside the Team Manager.

The Other Season Awards

The Iron Man Cars: Season-Long Mileage Wins

The Iron Man awards recognize the cars that accumulated the greatest total championship mileage in each class — a team achievement first, with driver eligibility tied to participation in the winning car.

GTP Iron Man belongs to GermanPitbullzRacing Alpha. The #50 Porsche completed 545 championship laps: 179 at Homestead, 195 at Red Bull Ring and 171 at St. Petersburg. PCA Sim Racing 963 finished only two laps behind at 543, making the GTP Iron Man contest one of the closest season-long awards on the board.

Because Christopher Kindler and Leon Friedrisczyk each drove the GermanPitbullz car in all three points-paying races, both satisfy the requirement of driving the winning car in at least two events and are eligible Iron Man recipients.

GT3 Iron Man belongs to Quokka Racing. The #27 Lamborghini accumulated 510 championship laps: 169 at Homestead, 178 at Red Bull Ring and 163 at St. Petersburg. Team Brake Fade and PCA Sim Racing GT3 tied for second at 507 laps, while Longhorn Racing Chrome reached 504 and SimHQ Motorsports WHITE 502.

Christian Youngwall and John Marjoribanks both drove the Quokka car in all three championship rounds, making both drivers eligible recipients of the GT3 Iron Man award.

What Season 6 Rebuilt

The sixth season was intentionally compact. It was a three-race championship designed to bring iRTES back around racing quality, active Race Control, strategy, team participation and an endurance format that felt serious without losing the community identity of Champion Motorsports.

It also became a development season. Code 60 procedures evolved. The Red Bull Ring weather race exposed strengths and weaknesses in neutralization processes. Post-race stewarding materially changed the GT3 championship. The 50+, Clean Team, Iron Man and sportsmanship categories gave competitors something meaningful to chase beyond overall victories.

By St. Petersburg, the series had two championship battles starting level, multiple side awards still open and a clear path toward a larger championship.

Season 7 Begins December 6

Season 6 proved the championship had something worth building on.

Season 7 is where iRTES gets to build it.
