Welcome to the Sportscar World Series presented by Champion Motorsports and designed by Daniel Carvalho. The series is designed as an immersive GT3 World Championship on the iRacing Platform which will closely emulate SRO’s GT World Challenge Europe. With a variety of races from Sprint, Endurance to 24-Hour format we expect a highly realistic and engaging series. The series is set to tentatively launch in April 2026, so stay tuned to this area of our website for more information forthcoming.

About our Team
Series Designer and Lead Admin – Daniel Carvalho
Daniel is 30 years old and I lives in Porto, Portugal. He has been involved in sim racing for almost 10 years, starting around 2015–2016 with local friends on a virtual auto drome in my hometown. He quickly got my own steering wheel and started competing in private leagues on PlayStation 4, racing in Project Cars 2, Gran Turismo and F1 game. He started on iRacing around 2020-2021 during the global COVID-19 pandemic, and is still on the simulator today. Daniel is an avid real-life motorsports fan and the creator and series designer for SWCS.
Co-Admin and Champion Motorsports Owner/Founder – David Anderson
David is 53 years old and resides in the Texas area. David founded Champion Motorsports in 1999. The community over the years has grown to over 5000 members and hosts a variety of popular and engaging sim racing leagues. David has deep experience in leading a community and successful series. David races himself as well and loves fantasy sports and immersion, hence lending his creativity to great series formats for our members at CMS to enjoy.

FAQ
What about iRacing Team Endurance Series (iRTES) at CMS?
The iRTES Series has been a staple of team based endurance racing at CMS and we expect that to continue in future seasons. The series is however in a pause for 2026 and we are excited to bring SCWS to our members as an amazing additional team based format that we believe will be enjoyed by our members.
When will the Races be?
Saturdays at a time accessible to European and American Time Zones
Will Teams be Required?
Yes a team may be of 2 – 6 members and more information will be provided
Will the races be Broadcast?
That is our intent and if we can financially make it available we are excited to broadcast the events
Will there be prizes or Trophies?
We are hopeful to yes provide some sort of incentive / trophy for participation and/or performance more info coming soon
Can Everyone race?
We expect to have a limited number of team sign-ups but a format that allows varying skill levels and iRating for the series.
When can my team sign up?
More information in signup will be available soon
Will there be an entry fee?
Yes we expect a nominal entry fee for the series to help with cost recovery
Will we definitely be starting in April 2026?
That is the plan however the schedule and start are subject to change so we can make sure we get it exactly right
What cars are planned for the Series?
We plan to make all of the GT3 Cars available for the races, and information on BoP if applicable will be shared later
