After a VERY successful Season 1, we are proud to announce Season 2 of the Sunday Night Truck Series at Champion Motorsports!

Just like Season 1, the season will have 8 races using Fixed Setups, and the race lengths will be 50% of the distance run by the Cup Series using the 2025 schedule.  This is to provide enough racing for tire and fuel strategies to come into play…and unlike Nascar, we do not have Stage Breaks or Stage Points, it’s all about racing from green to checkers!

In Season 1 we used the NASCAR points system from the 1990’s, with bonus points for leading a single lap, and leading the most laps.  But this season will offer a change to missed races:

If you know you will be missing a race (doesn’t matter why!) as long as an Admin is notified before the RACE start time (not practice or qualifying) then you will receive points for the position AFTER the last place starter in the race. No dropped race results this season, and it will still be to your advantage to start as many races as possible, but we know that there’s more than simracing in everyone’s day to day, so this is a compromise to keep interest high and the points close throughout the season!

Signups are not required for this series, but we do need you join the Champion Motorsports Discord and introduce yourself to everyone, as well as claim a number for the season. The link to the CMS Discord is in the top right corner in the banner.

If you ran in Season 1, then there’s no need to sign up or claim a number again….unless you want to change your number!
