WINTER 2026 ANNOUNCEMENT – 1969 PORSCHE 911 CUP

For our 39th season, CMS Historics is proud to announce we’ll be racing the first iteration of the Porsche 911 in race specs. As usual we’ll be on the original Assetto Corsa platform. In 1969 the 911 was running a 2L engine and still had its elegant narrow body just before the 70’s flared arches and wider tires took over. That means we get a light, playful car with limited grip and maximum fun.

Join us on Sunday nights this season for 6 championship races:

1- January 18 Laguna Seca
2- February 1 Dijon-Prenois
3- February 15 Trois-Rivières
4- March 1 Feldbergring
5- March 15 Oulton Park
6- March 29 Virginia (VIR)

  • All races to be 1 hour in length, beginning with a 15 minute qualifying session at 8:45 PM Eastern US time.
  • Pitstop is mandatory – you must stop at least once for 1 liter of fuel minimum. Tire change is optional.
  • Driver signup is open immediately, post your livery choice (car number in the livery pack) in the main discussion channel or send me a DM.
  • Server Password is: loudandproud
  • CMS standard rules apply to Historics races. competition-rules

Note: Please install the car pack even if you already have the latest ACL GTC60’s mod (v1.2.1). There are additional liveries required to avoid server mismatch. I also updated all the cars with Fuchs wheel to avoid graphics bug at larger distances (and they do look better!).
