Thread: ACC Competition - Screenshot Competizione, Revamped!

  1. Lightbulb ACC Competition - Screenshot Competizione, Revamped!

    Hi everyone!

Thanks to a suggestion from Jon Uyan, we’ve decided to revamp the Monday Night ACC Series Poster competition!

The goal is to use screenshots from the game as a base to help create posters to help share our series; we'll be focusing both on single events and the series as a whole.

The technical suggestions will remain the same as before:

    Screenshots must be:
    • Full screen
    • Size at least 1920x1080 (1080p); but bigger is even better
    • Free of all HUD/UI/overlay elements. Cars and track only, please.
    • Original screenshot only, please. No modifications, filters, or cropping
    • Recommended: Highest graphics settings in-game

For example, you can refer to the image posted recently in the announcements section on our discord. Also, I’ve found the best way to set up and capture screenshots is to use the ingame replay feature, along with pressing F7 to get a freecam (using the arrow keys and mouse to move). It may even be worth seeing if the game has any automatically saved replays worth digging through!

To have a bit of variety in this, we’ll be looking for submissions in any (or all) of these areas:

    1) A shot that for the main series poster (our main piece for advertising the series)
    - This shot can be based on any cars at any track; go nuts

    2) One shot for each of the upcoming test races we’ll be holding on the 15th and 22nd
    - the shots for these (and future events) should be based on the track that they are taking place at; so For the upcoming Barcelona test race, shots at Barcelona, etc. Try to capture the most defining parts of the tracks!

Also, make sure that when you’re taking these screenshots that there is plenty of empty or leftover space in areas to allow for logos, decent amounts of text, etc; I’d rather have too much space to work with over too little!

To submit screenshots for this (and to hopefully get others interested), simply post the screenshot in the #acc-screenshots channel on our discord; make sure to mention me @baakstaff and specify which of the 3 categories you’d like the image to be submitted (championship, barcelona test race, spa test race). If you'd like, you can mention multiple categories as well to submit your image for both the overall and event specific posters.

The deadline for each category will be:
    07/12 - Barcelona Test Race
    07/19 - Spa Test Race
    TBA - Main Championship Poster

Here’s an example submission for reference (though the forum has compressed the image a bit):
