Race comms via Discord is going to be the norm since we phased out TS now.

One thing that is bothersome when we have a big group during a race is that ppl have open mic and they don't realize or sometimes their settings are not right and there is this constant back and forth about unnecessary noise. One of the reasons why I never join unless it is mandatory. I would recommend using discord mandatory in a series but make turning off mics mandatory also. If you set your chat to voice activated and assign a button for mic on/off you will be set. When you need to talk you can turn the mic on and talk with voice activation (no need for push to talk button this way), and when you are done turn mic off. This way it is guaranteed there will be no rattling wheel or breathing noises coming thru during the race.
