    Thumbs up Season 1 Schedule and Points Standings

    The Points will be kept here
    Races will be in the following format
    Sprint Races - 2 x 30 minute races / normal points for each race
    Endurance Races - 1 x 60 minute race / normal points
    Special Event - Spa / 2 hours endurance / double


    Round 1 - Misano (sprint format)
    Round 2 - Zandvoort (sprint format)
    Round 3 - Special Event Spa 2 Hours - Double Points
    Round 4 - Nurburgring (sprint format)
    Round 5 - Hungaroring (sprint format)
    Round 6 - Barcelona (endurance format)

    Round 7 - Monza (Endurance Format)
    Round 8 - Brands Hatch (sprint format)
    Round 9 - Silverstone (Endurance Format)
    Round 10 - Paul Ricard (sprint format)

    @David, can you explain how "rebalancing" the points is going to be, when you move AM drivers to PRO class?

    Exactly first two races it will be just as if there were no Pro/Am. Then in Round 3 I will have enough data on where to put everyone, so I will go back to races 1 and 2 and reallocate those races as well as from round 3 onward as if it were Pro Am. So if for instance in race 1 the eventual pro am winner finished 5th, he will be rescored to have been first ... in Pro Am.

    Schedule has been updated in Post 1 of this thread. With the release of the game officially coming on 5/29 we have pushed back round 1 to June 3rd at Paul Ricard. Our series will generally follow the real life Blancpain season with races commencing on the Monday following their race weekend. The last 3 Rounds, at Monza, Brands Hatch and Silverstone, have been added to the end of our season and dates are reflected above.
