The race start for the Longhorn was very interesting due to iracing technical issues. All the cars were blinking and jumping for many but apppparently not all people. So as the driver I elected to start from the pits. I also did not race anyone significantly and keep a 1 sec buffer because cars were jumping 10ft in all directions. Aftr maybe 30 min the quality settle down and I could race. The challenge was the leaders did not seem to be impacted by the issues and we ended up 3 las down. David took over my singe stint and did a great job, then I just finished my 2nd stint putting David back in for his 2nd stint. We are sitting in 23 place with a clean car

Just read that iRacing found the issue and fixed it. This is what I found in their forums:

"To be totally transparent, it turned out it was a bad setting we had in our DDoS Prevention/firewalls causing the issue. There are dozens of settings. We have always had this particular setting like this but I'm guessing the scale of this race caused an issue with the way we had it set. Will get a full debrief and do a full review.

Our fault, very sorry for the issue. We know this race is a big deal."

Good call Phil on keeping the car out of trouble early! Good luck Longhorn racing!

Absolutely phenomenal run by Phil starting under very adverse conditions for us. And in his first enduro!!! Super job Phil. I just gave her to Larry Ford and we are in 18th place at the moment. Larry and Daniel Johnson are on deck next, for a few hours then Phil and Mike Tyler myself etc again later ... we are having a hoot of a time!
