Lightbulb Official Test 1/7 Nurburgring Post Test PR, Recap, and Media Thread

The first official gathering of the newly announced cmsracing.com GT3 series with Assetto Corsa Competizione took place this Monday night 1/7/2019 as we had our first official test at Nurburgring. Nearly 30 drivers showed up for the open 3 hour test session to turn laps. As incentive each of these drivers with times posted will earn 3 bonus points towards the Championship. A great open test, which will be followed by another one in two weeks at Misano. The top of the speed chart was led by Lamborghini as 2 of the top 3 cars were from the stable, leaving the manufacturer feeling good about their initial performance.

Full results are below and next test is on January 21st for all teams at Misano

Good test session for me. Had the chance to put some serious seat time with this new sim.
Lots of things to adjust still. Graphics are not working that great, for instance.
    Anyway.
I think I did 35 or so laps. Most with the Bentley Continental. A few with a BMW also.
Best time 1.57.927 with the first.

No idea how many laps I ran (probably the info is hidden behind the wheel?) Mostly Lambo, but Ferrari near the end, and it "feels" like it's easier to drive right out of the box.

1:59.1 I think in the Hurrican. No server issues, once I found the connect button.

I did about 4 or 5 laps because i got home late from work. My fastest time was a 1:58:6 i believe, and i was using the hurrican. i plan on using that car until january 16th when the nsx comes out.

No server issues when i was on, I couldve had a better last lap but someone was in the middle of the track and it threw me off and out of rhythm

Coming out of work a little late and shopping chores forced me to get on the server put in one lap and go have dinner. For testing was not an ideal night for me. Left the car on the server in pits, hope that was ok.

That was good fun! A bit dissapointed to not see more on voice chat. Will voice chat be mandatory for the season?

I saw David sending some messages through the chat box inside the game. Is this because he is the server admin, or there is a way to have a chat window in there?

I've just read on the official forums that the chat window will show after you press Enter...

Results from last night have been added to the first post. can everyone take a look at these and let me know if there are any corrections? the results are a bit buggy with this build, so I want to make sure I didnt miss anyone. There are a few times listed as unknown as the driver name wasn't listed, so let me know and then I will be doing a short recap of last night's test.
