John, the session will begin at Sunset, which has the sun directly on the Western Horizon. It will be dark by the end of the race though.

It's not how fast you can go, but how long you can go fast!

Ok great thanks. Sebring is one of my all time favs but for some reason everyone always wants to race it at night. But at least sunset will allow one to get into a grove as it darkens up.

We had a preseason test event at Sebring, and we started with pink skies and transitioned to grey, never really making it to full night. But you're right, if you get the track rhythm going, as well as adjust your own eyes to the growing darkness, it makes all the difference in the world.

I think the biggest factor was the sun causing big temp swings with the concrete, but when it went down the track was FAST!

We need to have a group practice this week....

Once iRacing came out with a universal BoP we reversed ours. The manual BoP was done since iRacing only did that a series-level. These latest two were rolled out to everyone on iRacing's service.

So is the BMW I8 GTE available to race in this championship?

And if so, does the 25 point penalty apply if we switch to it? I dont know how a new car added to iRacing effects the rules of our championship.

Traditionally we've not penalized drivers for switching to new cars. However, this would be the only round it would be a 'free' switch. And of course, your next switch would be penalized.

Edit: And yes, the BMW is now available.
