    I know its a bye week but I dont get a lot of time to practice so I need to get at it early.......question......schedule says Feb 20, 2019 - Sunset - 1 Hour of Sebring @ Night . Is the race at sunset or totally at night?

    John, the session will begin at Sunset, which has the sun directly on the Western Horizon. It will be dark by the end of the race though.

    Ok great thanks. Sebring is one of my all time favs but for some reason everyone always wants to race it at night. But at least sunset will allow one to get into a grove as it darkens up.

    We had a preseason test event at Sebring, and we started with pink skies and transitioned to grey, never really making it to full night. But you're right, if you get the track rhythm going, as well as adjust your own eyes to the growing darkness, it makes all the difference in the world.

    I think the biggest factor was the sun causing big temp swings with the concrete, but when it went down the track was FAST!

    We need to have a group practice this week....
