I've done some laps on the server, with my ballast I can do mid 1:39's (with track grip around 98%), wondering what your times in the Porsche.

I miss the timings, hope we get it back one day.

I'm going to do some laps in a bit, will report times after.
Agreed about the live timing. Have a feeling it's quietly being worked on though, so it'll probably be back one day.

After some more laps (*wipes sweat) I finally got into mid 39's as well.
I restarted the session when I went in, forgot to look at grip levels. Whatever it starts at (96%?)
Maybe it worked up to 98%, if it's starting around 96ish...by the time I was into the 39s.

Car is a bit faster than that. Currently, the driver is the issue

The tracks starts randomly between 95-97% from my observations.

Yeah, I can see faster laps too, but I'm sure in my case it's not the driver, I blame the track

    Yeah, there's that too. lol

    Very easy to lose time.
Feels like it's going to be very hard to be consistent in this land yacht.

Was just on with Mihaly, and he managed a 1:38.75 @97/98 grip. After a few laps I got the 356A down to a 40.25 and there is certainly more there if you run a good line through the slowest corners...and a lot of panel beating if you don't.

    Going back for more.

    Yeah, the ballast is big.

    Dave Slee managed a 1:36.105 and I ran a 36.182 (both at 100 grip)...

...but we are both in the flyweight division, so figure that into it. Maybe a second a lap per 20 kilos, two seconds for Mihaly (who's carrying 40).

These first gear corners are really tricky, particularly that first downhill left hairpin. Even a medium slide across the apex there costs you nearly 2s.

    Lots of fun.

BTW, does anyone know if the ballast is applied at the car C.G. or not? If it's placed forward or aft, that might require some additional setup changes in addition to just being heavier....
