Thread: Fall/Winter Car Signup Thread

  1. #1

    Default Fall/Winter Car Signup Thread

This season, drivers will be required to sign up for a particular car (model and #) to drive for the season.

    Choose from the following:

    Porsche 356A 2L (CMS) - download (Version 6) link
Alfa Romeo Giuila TZ (std) - download link
Alfa Romeo GTA (std) - (Dream Pack DLC)
Lancia Fulvia (std) - download link

Please browse the available skins in-game, then post your name, car #, and Steam GUID below. Car #'s will be assigned first come, first served as posted in this thread.

You may change cars at any time during the season by adding a post to this thread. However, once you choose to leave a car model, you can't return to that model for the rest of the season.

    See you on track!

Please note the Porsche link is updated as of 10/8, and the Alfa as of 10/9, so you'll need to download even if you raced with us in the test races.

Note that this "final" version of the Porsche features a wider selection of gears (it's a gain of maybe two tenths down the straights).
I've reduced the fuel tank size to 80 liters. With the shorter shifting, the engine revs much faster on average, so expect fuel usage to go up about 5-7%. This should mean the mandatory re-fuel will really be mandatory!
Finally, I've reworked a couple of minor parameters for better stability. You may want to dial things back for more oversteer (+1 on front ARB or +1 front bump).

Needless to say, I'm driving one!

I'm going to assign car #'s at random if you don't have a preference. Just post here if you'd like to change car #.

Alfa TZ link is missing the roadgoing version of the car, hold off on that. Sorry for the confusion! Should be updated again soon!

I will look at a car number tonight in case there is a scheme that firs my eye. It is soooooo critical to find a paint scheme that matches my pace. Are there any molasses colored paint schemes for the Lancia?

And it will be one more reason to get on the computer tonight since ACC drops the next step today, I believe. Well I cannot get vr to work in ACC - cant get past roadmap/main screen selection.

But I did find a paint scheme...#66 please
