    Default Wreckfest is a blast

    Hey guys,

I watched a couple of youtube video's of Shawn over at Simpit playing this game with his buddies and it looked like a fun game so I decided to buy it and give it a try. What a hoot. The graphics are great, the AI's are really good and it's just plain fun destroying other cars. You start out with a couple of cars and you need to earn money and points before you can buy other cars and parts for the cars but like all other games there are ways to get around that. I jumped into a GMC Jimmy and ran a few demolition derby's against guys on riding lawn mowers and it didn't take me long to make a lot of cash.

If you have the game lets set up some online wrecking parties. If you are on the fence as to whether or not to buy it.......buy it, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

I've seen a couple of those videos also. It does look like a blast. How much did the game cost you and how many different vehicles/venues are available in the game? Does the length of each session just depend how long it takes for only one car still moving? Or is there more to it than that?

I paid about $43 CAN for it so it would be a few dollars less in US currency. I think there's about 15 different cars and about 10 different tracks that you can select to race in either direction on. The game is on early access at the moment so it's still being developed but don't let that scare anyone away, I believe it's going to be in full release soon.

I almost bought this the other day, but talked myself out of it. However, after reading this thread I think I'll reconsider. :-)

Get it Troy, it is a blast even offline, but online is really fun as well. I play with Sim Pits on Monday nights sometimes and we can't stop laughing.
