    Default Spotter Program

Anyone remember how to disable the spotter announcements? I know there is a post somewhere, but can't find it. Been looking for days. Pretty sure Brian Farmer explained how to do it.

if you're talking about rf2 Scott, I believe you go into Options/Plug-ins and turn it off from there

Yeah, I am talking about RF2, but I mean in the DefaultRules.ini in the UserData/Player/Spotter folder.

    Scott,
Almost half way down the player.json file is the spotter stuff, mine is alphabetical. Under spotter I have mine turned off, I use CrewChief in all my racing sims. Mine looks like this.
    "Spotter Behind":10,
"Spotter Behind#":"Range behind at which spotter may comment on vehicles around you (range ahead is 40% of this value because those vehicles are easier to see)",
    "Spotter Detail":0,
    "Spotter Laptimes":0,
    "Spotter Laptimes#":"Report laptimes: 0=never 1=non-race 2=always",

I did just turn off the spotter in the game settings to get this.
