Looked like Steen got sent to pit lane at the start? And maybe Mike too? That is AC's behavior for a jumped start, please let us know if you think you were incorrectly penalized. We've had one other race where a couple of people were tossed off the grid, would like to figure out if it's a new bug with AC or if it's actually working properly. Thanks!

I decided to drive the Jag to bring a little variety to the grid, and to make sure the car is good enough to be included in a vintage prototype season. For a 3rd-party mod it is really well done- overall quality including sounds is quite high. It is slower than the 330, but I think with some more setup work it could be closer- I needed to tame the rear for more confidence under braking, which was compromising my lap times.

Good stuff, anyway, thanks to those who turned out! I think we could make a viable season with these cars, see the Historics forum for more info if you're interested!

There was one fast cat, Chris, and three alley cats....

These cars are a blast to drive. The race snuck up on me and i didnt get to feel out all of them. I only tried the 330 this AM before the race. I think they would be a great series to run.

It felt so good being back on track! I haven't raced online for a year or so!

I was send to the pits, because I jumped the start. I wasn't aware of the AC start procedure. Other than that, it was a lot of fun being back on track even though I'm not a historics specialist. CMS definitely need more races in the EU time slot!

As we discussed on TS maybe a Nordschleife event???

When I was waiting for qualifying to end I jumped in the Jag to watch and I could not get back out of the car. Even when you guys went to grid I was still in the car. Tried hitting whatever I could eventually starting up a bunch of other programs in the process. I forced my computer to shut down just in case my car would stay on the track when I was not in it.

@Michael, bummer! That is a major shortcoming in the UI, has happened to me before. Sorry you missed the race!

I couldn't help but think, after reading your observation, Angelo, about the MNRL server data-rate, that maybe we have a similar issue with the data-rate on the AC server. The race was fun, but even with only a handful of starters I saw a LOT of stutter all race long. Fortunately no screen blanking (I traced that to a pair of new, but faulty cables), or that might have put me out again, but a lot of stuttering.

    How do we check that?
