    Default X-com

Any other X-com lovers, either the classic or the new version?

I had played a ton of the original back in the day, but just started the new reboot. Wow, they did a great job capturing so much of the original but also updating it into a very modern game. I am enjoying how I can customize my soldiers and grow skills. Its also got some of the twisted humor of the original. But like the classic, it can be brutal. My best team member got outflanked by an alien surprise and died without any chance to respond. I was pissed, but that is a sign a good game had wrapped me in.

Still playing this and still really enjoying it. If you like turn-based strategy, or just nail-biting tension, you might enjoy this game. Every turn on a mission you are thinking to yourself "if I do this, I can get a soldier killed, but if I do that maybe the chance of getting a soldier killed is less". Its one of those games where every decision has meaning, and things can go pear-shaped in a heartbeat.
