Charlie we are still pursuing a new GTR2 server package. I hope to have an answer within a couple of weeks. As for rFactor, you ARE aware of the 1979 mod we are running on Tuesday nights? We had a blast last night with 14 starters. I know you can't do 45 minutes yet but by the time this series is over and we establish another rFactor adventure hopefully you'll be fully recovered and can come out and kick some butt!

We miss you and hope you get back with us real soon.

Charlie, are you interested in GT Legends? (GREAT SIM!) We are fixing to start another series with that soon and would love to have you in it. See this fun race forum for specifics.

GTR2 NGT (or even smaller spec cars like the Lotus) would be a nice change of pace from the VOR "hold on to your ass" racing in LMC. I find the slightly slower cars tend to make for good close pack racing that keeps the knuckles white and the grin plastered. 'Course, with 2 nights of racing already lined up, this might be better for between seasons of 70s GT or LMC.

Yeah there is a lot of racing already happening, so I would not personally be able to add another night. I would want to run GTR potentially after we compete the next GT Legends Series, but not at the same time ... would be my suggestion. We already have 2 series at VOR the LMC/GTS and the 79 Open Wheel F1 that many of us here are in as well -- plus the Thursday Night GTL races! whew!

Thanks for the words fellas...my dancin days may be done but my racing days are far from ending
The (only) problem I have with rFactor is that its gotten so unstable on my machine..Im not sure if its a sound issue or a video issue or just the fact rF just doesnt like me lol!

As for GTL I just havnt been able to get my hands on yet(still dealing with the x-mas bills)but am itchin to try it and have been since I saw the trailer for it.

I do agree with Devon about a the smaller class package like the lotus or even the Vertigo and ViperCC's .Like the Alfa 147's for rF I can see alot of tight close pack racing at some of the club circuts, and even some of the bigger tracks as well.

Intersting note about rF.When i got it all I wanted it for was for a good F1 type racing sim...now I have more tin top mods and enjoy them more then anything else...funny how that happend

For the most i'll be running a race or even just laps by myself..I get a black screen and can hear the sound looping in the background-which of course sounds like a sound issue..so I cut back my sounds and even dropped down from a 4.1 to 2.1 sound system but it started happening again. The thing that makes it hard to pin point is that it doesnt happen regularly.I can run in one sitting a few short races in a row without a problem then the following night not be able to run one.
