Welcome to Champion Motorsports! We've put up this page on our website for new visitors to our community to get started racing with us quickly! First of all you may want to start by reading a little bit about our community at the About Us Page on the main website.

Here at Champion we offer quite a few options for simulation racing. The first is our Champion Fun Series which runs weekly on Sunday Nights. The Fun Series Races are just "that", purely for fun, laughs, and bragging rights. These events are an opportunity to run with friends (and make new ones) in a relaxed setting. You should not feel like you have to be a simulation racing expert to participate in these, nor should you practice and prepare for hours on end for the race. The whole idea is to come and have a good time. We have been doing the series for many years now and it's really the foundation for how organized racing began here at the community.

Races in the Fun Series are typically on Sunday Nights, and we use a variety of different simulations; including rFactor, GTR2, GT Legends, ARCA Sim Racing, NASCAR 2003, Live For Speed, and anything that looks interesting to our members. We will normally organize mini seasons that last between 6 and 10 weeks long in the fun series, and then when the season is completed we start up a new one.

Anyone that registers a Forum Account on our website is welcome to participate in the fun series. It's that simple, simply sign-up on the forums, and introduce yourself in the Fun Series Section to get started and have fun!

The second simulation racing option we offer here at Champion Motorsports is our International Lemans Series league (ILMS). The series is built upon a private and custom built mod for rFactor that was developed by members of our community and team; "Carpe Noctem Design Group". ILMS is short for our Serie International Du Mans; which features 4 Classes of race cars based loosely on the International Lemans and American Lemans Series. The classes of cars include LM-P1, LM-P2, GT, and GTC and the mod includes 20+ unique cars with physics. Our main division for ILMS races on Thursday Nights; and includes a detailed schedule and drivers points championship for both a GT Challenge Format and a Multi-Class Series. We also have an International Series that tailors to European and Worldwide Timezones and it Runs on Sundays.

Membership in the ILMS series is by invitation; although anyone may apply for consideration. Participation in the ILMS league does require a small donation to our league fund to assist in offsetting costs associated with running a large series of this nature.

We are also excited to now be hosting league racing for iRacing. It is with great excitement that the iRacing Simulation has evolved to now offer private league support. For iRacing we run a variety of the cars and tracks and offer series and seasons for both oval and road racing. Our iRacing Series do track points, and are currently running on Tuesday and/or Wednesday nights. To get started with us on iRacing simply post in that section on our forums and we'll get you started.

Last but not least, one of the coolest things we offer here at CMS is our Driver Development Program (DDP). This was created by some of our members that were looking for a continual learning tool for both new racers and experienced ones looking to gain new skills or polish a certain aspect of their sim racing skills. The Driver Development Program gets together for meetings on Tuesday Nights and typically begins with instruction and education on a certain topic or aspect of racing -- and then is followed by short club races using a variety of different cars and trainers to encourage learning in a community environment. All drivers and members of the CMS community are welcome and encouraged to participate in DDP. To get going simply post in the DDP section of the forums and we'll get you up and running.
