The Roots of Champion Motorsports Date back to the late 1990's; when several members of the Night-Shifters Stock Car Racing league decided to form an alliance together. We were using the NASCAR 3 simulation from Papyrus . With most of us being new in the league at that time and just really getting started with online racing, the idea was to meet some new friends and help one another at the same time.
We are very active in the simulation racing community as a whole, and run a variety of racing simulations. Over the years our community has grown to expand well beyond our original team.
Champion today is really much more than just a racing team, and is proud to be a vibrant community for simulation racers and motor sports fans across the world. We host and sponsor several different leagues and series here under the Champion Banner; including such simulations as rFactor, GT Legends, GTR2, ARCA Sim Racing, iRacing.Com, Live for Speed and others.
To learn more about our community and the racing we provide simply visit our Community Forums! Anyone is welcome to participate -- so feel free to join us! All you need to do is register on the forums and introduce yourself to get started.
It is also important to us that we welcome sim racers of all skill levels. While many of our members have been racing online for many years and quite a few also have professional motorsport experience, we also stress the importance of helping and encouraging participation from all skill levels. Our Champion Fun Series is a great place to start if you want to get to know us or are new to racing online and want to have some fun.
Fun races are just "that", purely for fun, laughs, and bragging rights. These events are an opportunity to run with friends (and make new ones) in a relaxed setting. You should not feel like you have to be a sim racing expert to participate in these, nor should you practice and prepare for hours on end for the race. The whole idea is to come and have a good time.
