Can you make a backup CD of the Race 07, Evo. and other games downloaded from Steam?
Is it always necessary to sign on to Steam to play these games?
Will we be signing on to a Steam server listing to play in CMS Fun Series?

Vern,
Yes you can, have a look in the support area or go into the forum and do a search you should be able to find the info in one of these places. I'd made hard copies off all my purchased Steam games.

You can both backup the game to a hard drive (or burn to CD) and play offline via Steam. To backup the game, I think it is in Library and in the right click menu. I ma not sure how to force offline play, but when my internet is down and I start Steam there is a dialog that allows me to play offline.
I imagine we will be playing on a CMS dedicated server, much like rFactor or GTR2, but that is just an assumption.
we would for sure be hosting the races on a CMS dedicated server, the same way our rFactor events work.

Thanks everyone for the responses.
I ran some laps in the Mini at Monza Reverse and setup the controller in Race07.
When I ran rFactor after that using Simons' Mini (he has a Mini too) my Logitech steering controls had changed and I had to reset them.
Is this a common occurrence in SimBin games to override the controller?
