June 22, 2010 ... SUMMIT POINT, USA (CMS) - It was another great Race. Dan Rasch
took the overall pole and jumped out to an early lead. He briefly battled with
eventual winner Jay Suthar, but after Suthar went wide in turn one, Rasch appeared
to be well on his way to victory. However, on lap eight, Rasch dropped wheel entering
the final turn and crashed hard in the tire barrier. Suthar took full advantage of
Rasch's mistake and went onto an easy victory, leading the final sixteen laps.
Pole sitter, Dan Rasch, leads the field through turn one at Summit Point.
In the Showroom Stock class, Joe Selmants took the pole with a 1:30.269. Selmants
lead the class for the first three laps, but a mistake exiting turn one, allowed both
Mike Oppenheimer and Troy Dalton to both get past. Dalton was subsequently able to get
past Oppenheimer as the two entered the carousel and despite a wild ride avoiding a
spinning J Colin Thompson, Dalton was able to hold on for the class win, finishing
fourth overall.

It was yet another exciting and entertaining race in the Champion Motorsports iRacing division!
