The 3rd event in the CMS DC Series was held at the most demanding and yet the most popular road track in the world...The Nurburgring better know as "The Green Hell".
Congrats to Steen Franta on a great overall and P2 class win and also to JT Tami on a cool GT class win.
And last but not least congrats to Scott Clark for the P1 class win.
Also congrats to all podiums and finishers at this demanding track.

Some pics.

Congrats to Steen (P1) and JT (GT)! Following Owens closely up the hill on L1, he braked where I never braked and bopped him in the rear, sending us both into the knee-high pebble-dirt! After what seems like minutes of various tire-spin undulations, I finally freed myself and then played catchup to Owens, then Wood who did a spin along with some others, finding myself in 3rd. I tried to catchup to Hein but my car front was way too damaged with 15mph off my top end speed. I tried my hardest to reduce some seconds from him but no go as I could barely keep it on the road myself.

Fun race ... wish more division reps would have shown up, but probably fathers-day was the culprit. Sorry about rearending you Owens and no wise cracks about age, as I'll be 44 this year. Perhaps the older we get, the admins can provide us with a handicap point-system so those younger nipper-snappers have something to aim at ;-)

Cheers

LT

Wow, what a demanding track!

Didn't have the pace on this track so i decided to take it easy and try to stay on the track.
This went quit well, had a steady pace in the first stint.

But at the end of the second stint i lost my concentracion for a brief moment and went into a barrier. This happend at the beginning of the old section so i had to limp back to the pits for almost a complete lap.

This cost me a minute and ofcourse repair time in the pits.

The car didn't feel so good after that, lost 20 kph of my topspeed and couldn't get under the 9 min anymore.

BUT......i made it to the end!!

To bad there were so few drivers but understandable due to Fathersday!

Untill next time!
