The heat has been turned up in the kitchen! Following last week's GT-Class race, the hi powered 4-class series lives up to everyone's expectations. With extreme speeds, great racing action and surprises found around each corner, this race now stages the scene for an exciting finalé at Lemans!
In the P1 class,
JT Tami (Audi R10) powers his way to a dominating win over 2nd place finisher,
Zander Tallman (ARX-02a) and 1st in Class (
Dwayne Jans) who also takes 3rd overall in his Acura ARX-01b.
Stephen King (Porsche RS Spyder) holds onto 2nd place in the P2 category, while
Paul Hamilton finishes 3rd in class with his Porsche RS Spyder.
The Cinnamon brigade continues, with a smashing victory by
Kevin Cinnamon (Porsche 997 GT), followed by a resilient 2nd place finish by
Tim Collier (C6-R) and
Tom Cinnamon (Porsche 997 GT) who rounds up the GT podium.
During the race, track officials had to console the pole sitter Paul Schuman, who ended his race prematurely after only 16 laps. Another alien racer, Brian Farmer greeted Paul afterwards for a big/therapeutic group hug, as shared by the other 4 top contenders who could not finish the race due to damages or car/technical issues.
A big
RED Target is now set on the back of the season P1 leader going into Lemans, with the song "alien fodder" or "gonna catch me a wabbit" ringing in everyone's ears! With 1 bobble by any racer, there's also a chance for some major season/position changes in the GT category.
