Default Logitech G35 Headset

I don't actually own the G35's, but I thought I'd share this anyway. Roger "Roge" Owen is a long time sim racing friend of mine and I trust his judgement.

Hi Troy, I just discovered something very cool. My brother bought a Logitech G35, thats a surround sound headset. I tried it out with iRacings surround sound and was totally blown away by the C6R's massively improved thunderous engine note with these cans over my previous Sennheiser PC350. So if you want some great immersive C6R audio when you dont want to disturb the family, you got a solid recommendation from me. They plug in to the USB port, so they bypass any crappy onboard souncard but might not be quite as good as very good headphones and a very good soundcard, but for £70 they are good value if you are upgrading from onboard sound and a reasonable headset such as I have. (great for DVDs too but I dont know if you can plug in a second set and hear simulateously)
Catch you on a C6R practice server soon

I am a proud owner of a G35 and absolutely love it. I would highly recommend it. very solid construction and sounds. I believe I posted a review in the reviews section of this forum.

Christmas came early at Dalton manor today, when the UPS guy delivered my G35! I hooked it up and it's really sweet. The only downside that I can see, is that they are significantly heavier than my old headset. I'm not suggesting that I require a HANS device, but they are noticably heavier than my Plantronics. They sound great though - I can't wait to experience the surround sound.

just picked up the g35 at best buy for 80$ what a deal!! they are pretty heavy but when you turn on the surround sound all you can think about is the low rumblings of your engine as you slowly pull away from the garage. awsome!
