David, I know you've run a little of the TPSCC, so how are you feeling about it? I think the physics are very good, but I can't remember Nascar setup stuff, so I think the base setups were my issue... at Daytona for instance, kind of wobbly in the banking, go from loose to tight, and kind of like that high speed wobble in the wheel with the Mclaren F1 mod?
Anyway, I joined a Daytona open race online with about 8 guys a bit ago (Sal Luciano was there too). I got a setu from him that someone gave him, and I got one from another guy. I haven't tried Sal's, but this other setup was GREAT!! Felt just as good if not better than NR 2003!
Anyway, wanted to pass along the setups for you to try out!
I gotta figure out what the Nascar rules messages are with rFactor... kept telling me I was "driving too slow (-1.9 laps)" while we were on a caution lap... I was a lap down because I had to pit when I pancaked the wall on exit. Gives me the lucky dog, but kept telling me to stay behind the wrong person (at least I thought wrong) on the pace laps... The rules still seem funky, but I definitely think TPSCC has potential to replace NR2k3![]()
