Test Tracks

Here are two test tracks that you may find beneficial.

Two Lane Blacktop is ten miles long with a 100 meter radius skid pad on either end. I allowed for the curvature of the Earth, 8" per mile. There's a bridge at half track that locates sectors 1 & 2.

Here's Two Lane Skid Pad. Just extract to TWO-LANE_BLACKTOP folder. Yellow line is center of 100M radius or 328 Ft. It runs counter-clockwise.

I know the ILMS mod team has their own test facilities, but this is by far the best publicly available test track I've seen. The ten mile track provides a great bench test for top speeds and fuel economy at full throttle. Skip pad is great for finding the cars balance.

This is too ironic, as I was recently wondering if any test tracks were available for rFactor... sweet!
