    Default steering less sensitive

Hello, I find cars in ILMS that turns much with a very few degree of leverage (I use PS2 joypad), how I can get less sensitive the steering wheel from the moving of the joypad?
I tryed to change "steering sensitivity" on controls, and "sensitivity of X axe" on joystic one.. but seems it doesnt' works.. any advice?

Have you tried the "Steering Ratio [Lock]" setting in the Garage yet,if not it might help by lowering it to about 24-26.
Also the caster setting in the setup has some bearing on the turning circle of the car.
But the "steering sensitivity" in the controls section might have to be as low as about 10 using a small joypad stick.
A wheel is much better but that is of coarse your chiose.
    Hope this helps.

    I hope that translated correctly.

"Hello Alessandro, my first suggestion would be to work diligently to purchase a Wheel and Pedals. That said I was a joypad user for a while, and the only way I could control the ILMS Cars was to tune around the controller. The biggest problem is that the joy pad is way too sensitive, so start out with controller sensitivity, and then move to steering lock. After that make sure you have tuned you camber and tire pressure to match the proper running temp for the tires and so you have the maximum amount of rubber on the road. These cars react very poorly with cold tires and bad contact patches, and using a joypad makes this even worse. Hope this helps."

I would agree that if you can convert to a wheel and pedals that will be best long term.

Thanks for the answers guys, I know that having a steering wheel it would be the solution of joypad sensitivity, but pitily also for logistic problems I can't have it, in future who knows?
So seems I have to live with joypad problems, but I'm determined to get a compromise.. the fact is that with other mods (for example F1) the steering leverage of joypad is very good balanced with sensitivity (very low degree of leverage corrispond to a slighty move of the steering on car, on consequence I can't afford also the most little bend, but only few slighty changing of my line), with ILMS mod the same degree of moving it make me able to do also some bends completely, or change totally the line.. so I know that also setups have very good influence on drivability of a car, and prototype aren't the same as F1, but I'm convinced this is a problem of joypad leverage sensitivity..

Now.. I worked with this control (Immagine1), about the sesitivity of the seering.. and.. or I'm stupid and I don't reach to feel the difference between 10 to 80%.. or doesn't change nothign at all..

I tryed to work also with another control (Immagine2), because in the configuration keys it says me that the leverage for steering is the X axis.. so I thought that maybe it has to do something with it.. but again I cannot feel difference..

Am I in the right way moving these controls? or there is something more to do or to make them really effective for my joypad.

@ Joe: the "Steering Ratio" it is and it was always at 25 as you suggest.

Thanks again for the patience guys.

Try the below settings,I just tried them with my sons PS2 controller and they seemed ok but you might have to go right down to 10-15%.

    controller 1

    X 24
    RXY 24
    S0 24
    S1 24

    Deadzone 3-5

Also just to be safe set controller 2 the same, rfactor or windows might be confusing them.

And in garage steering ratio 10%
Also your wing settings effect how loose or tight the car feels, lower wing=a loose [harder to steer setup] and higher wing [more downforce so less sensitive steering response].ex:3F 4R =really loose 10F 12R tighter less sensitive steering.
Same with brake bias, more front bias swings the rear out easier.more rear bias loosens the front end which makes steering more sensitive in effect.

    Sensibilita:
Movimento Del Capo 20 or less.

They seem real low but the small stick does not have much travel.

Not sure myself either LOL.but I just tried them just in case.
Glad it is better, but now you can adjust it in controller 2 you can now make it even better.
