Guys,here is my latest version of rFactor stripped

This version is completely updated to 1255f w/ Hudson Skies
There are NO extra plugins added

This version is only about 60mb download

Just add your Mod and Tracks.

Thanks Bob! This is the first time I have used one of your stripped versions and it works great. I only have the ILMS mod on it and it loads much faster! Now my son can play the old version and not screw up all my settings.

Thanks for the compliments guys,not only does it load much faster but it's also only 59mb so it saves tons of HD space

Guy's..the reason I bumped this thread again is because I've been hearing about allot of racers w/ CTD's and all kinds of issues.
I think I can help get rid of or at least narrow down some of these issues.
If you are experiencing issues week in and week out I highly recommend you try this

Download this stripped version of rFactor to your desktop.
Unzip the folder inside to your MAIN hard drive "C"

DO NOT COPY ANYTHING FROM YOUR OLD rFACTOR INSTANCE
Add the mod
Add the latest carpack
Add the next track we are using
Configure your graphics
Start the game and create a new profile..DO NOT COPY YOUR OLD ONE INTO THIS INSTANCE,it may be part of your problem.
Don't add any other mods or plugins or anything at all.
Join the CMS server and "Bookmark" it.

If you follow theses directions exactly you should be good to go...I am

Now..as far as extras and plugins are concerned..
I use the newest spotter program 2.0 w/ no issues
I use the MoTeC plugin w/ no issues
And I use the Crystalfontz plugin all w/ no issues.

I have a separate instance of rFactor CMS ILMS for the endurance races w/ no pluggins installed.

If you are still having problems..then you may have hardware issues of some sort.
Make sure all your drivers are up to date.

Also..I don't use any firewalls
No instant messangers or any of that crap
No anti-virus
No programs or pieces of equipment (printers,little movie camera's or anything) that ever want to update themselves
I turn off all automatic updates including Windows.

Some of these programs and things can bring a monster computer to it's knees.

I run Windows XP Pro
I use a program called Windows Washer and I defrag every Thursday before I join the server

"Knock on wood" I have had no problems whatsoever lately
