    Default rfacor crashes

It crashes every time I try to load the track. it will do this several times until it finally loads the track. Once i get on the track it works great until I reboot the pc.

Hoping you all might have some ideas.

    Thanks,

Dont go back to XP, Windows 7 is where everyone should be now, it's miles ahead of XP and VISTA and a very solid racing platform for 32 bit or 64 for iRacing, rFactor, etc.

Yay! I finally have rFactor Lite installed. I also have the DDP car and first 4 tracks installed. This is a fun car to drive. I'm looking forward to my rookie training year.

I should be receiving a dvd of rFactor today. That will give me a clean full install and I can start looking at some mods like the carts and ILMS.

Having just installed windows 7 and rfactor on a brand new machine...I have had some rfactor crashes when loading tracks, especially connecting to cms servers. I changed many things including firewalls in w7,but the one thing I don't know too much about, perhaps may have corrected it or quelled it....Video drivers. I loaded the drivers from my new video card (XFX 5850) and it didn't install correctly off cd...even though it went through the motions. I downloaded most current drivers and ati programs...reinstalled. Haven't had the issue since, but's only been 1-2 days and only a few times in use.

W7 is brand new to me and I don't know if that particular video driver was the issue. CMS Hermanos track definitely needs adjustment as the folders are not correct from the extraction.

Just wanted to share my experience...hope it helps!
