    Correct me if I'm wrong, but RealFeel and LeoFFB are two different plug-ins that do the same thing. How can they work together? They have separate ini files, right?

    yes they are separate but work in concert to improve the ffb "reality".

    Realfeel simulates the forces generated by and ON the steering geometry.

    Leo's plugin simulates the forces generated by tires at various slip angles.

    The KEY to getting these to work well is to turn down rFactor's ffb to LOW.

    ps. did you try reversing the sign on the rFactor ffb and get the wheel to stop fighting you?

    I wondered why I could never feel the rumble strips!

    I have the FFB in rFactor set to FULL, but I will lower it.

    I set the FFB to -25 and now the wheel centers itself when I let off and it doesn't feel like I'm driving a tractor over a crater-filled field! Talk about fighting the wheel!

    Thanks, Mike.

    CMS needs a wheel-setup-for-dummies session.

    Fanatec gives you no clue as to what the desktop control sliders do or why you might want to set them this way or that, etc. (damping, drift, etc.) This is my first wheel ever and I'm clueless as to its setup in rFactor and GTR Evolution.

    I'd like to get it so I can feel the car losing traction before I'm in a full on spin. I'd also like to figure out why my wheel is advertised as 180-900 degrees, but the supplied software won't allow it to go lower than 200! I want to turn the wheel as little as possible with the F1 car -- I see no advantage in using 360 or 900 degrees of steering. I have it set to 200 and I also set the car's steering angle to the max (32 degrees, I think). In my mind, this compensates for the lack of a 180 degree turning radius on the wheel by steering the car sharper with less wheel movement. This may be convoluted thinking, but it's my workaround right now.

    Go to the Fanatec forums and post your questions there... SURELY someone knows what the sliders do and how to set things up for rFactor and Evo

    I'll check into it. The 911 wheel forums run by Fanatec are a joke.

    I'll give this a try as I've been having the tractor-tread feel when racing, especially on the more technical tracks. I'm using a G25 but will stay away from ECCIs 6000 wheel as I do enjoy FFB. Is there a FFB wheel that is considered the top-of-the-line that is comparable to ECCIs quality fluid builds?

    Hi, as I wrote in some other posts I'm going to have my first wheel very soon, so I'm searching all informations that will help me to work out the best with it.. the question is how I set real feel for other mods that aren't the serie du mans?

    for example I found these value for a class of this mod:

    MaxForceAtSteeringRack=-800.000000
    SteeringDamper=11500.000000
    FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=60.000000
    SmoothingLevel=0

    but what every row is? how to understand what to change? somebody can help me please?

    I know this is a really old thread,but, I was having a hard time feeling anything in enduroracers endurance mod, this made a huge difference, dropped a full second and a quarter using the default setup and implementing these chages, still having a hard time feeling the fronts let go, but a huge difference, running a 60% reelfeel as opposed to 100% made quite a startling difference, I can feel the suspension working now,
    Big thumbs up for this.
