    Default PCC v1.2 is out!

    http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail...2005%20Germany

    VOR has issued the following:

There Is A New Version of the PCC mod out there. I am asking you DO NOT Update your files to V1.2 because the server will not be changing, till after the season is complete. Because there is only one race left it is pointless to change now and create more problems for me on race night. This way I have no worries. If you have update I ask that you uninstall that version and put the original version back on.

    Thank You For Your Time.

Sweet, can't wait to try this. What all changed -- any ideas?

New physics (accurate) mainly and also new sounds apparently.

The blurb on rfactorcentral said "this will NOT affect previous versions of the PCC mod", so it sounds like it's safe to install... it just makes a new mod, not updates the previous 1.1

"Drive the 32 Cars from the 2005 German Carrera Cup season. Version 1.2 includes complete reworked physics and new Sounds. The v 1.2 does not affect any previous installations of the PCC 2005 Mod"

Just as an FYI, I installed PCC 1.2 and had no issues. It installs as it's own mod with it's own car types in the rfm, etc.

Also, if you want to install it, and use your old car (same model and car body as 1.1, so it's fine), you need to copy the old cars/teams from the PCC Vehicle directory to the new PCC05 Vehicle directory. For the cars to work in 1.2, you'll have to edit the VEH file. After copying my car over, I opened up the VEH file and another from one of the cars that came with 1.2, to compare naming conventions. It looks like wherever there was a "PCC" in the old VEH file, it should now be "PCC05", and the "PCC05"s that are in the old one now need to be "PCC2005". PRetty simple 1 minute change and then your car will work in the new version.

No issues with installing the new version, so feel free do it... I need setups now... about 5 seconds slower at Spa (only a couple laps with the default setup). lol

Here's a batch converter that will convert the 1.0 cars to 1.2 cars....haven't tried it yet myself, but everyone else says it works great. Just read the instructions first!!!
