Looks pretty cool, but can it be easily removed back to the original if I didn't like it?

As far as I know yes it can. Just make sure you read the readme info on the hud.

I've stopped using the XD-tool and replaced it with this rFDynHUD. Much more information available and the possibility to make different overlays for different sessions. Here's the link to the infopage.

    http://www.ctdp.net/rfdynhud.html

I've made my own overlays (24" widescreen at 1920 x 1200) for practice- and racesession. In a racesession I don't show the sectortimes at the bottom right of my screen so I can have the normal rF-menu (button #6) in place which you need to be able to delete any damagerepairs at a pitstop. If you like to have those overlays .... just PM me your emailadress and I'll be happy to share them.

And yes ... you can easily delete the whole thing if you don't like it. And if you think there is too much info on your screen ... just delete the widget (that's how they call the different fields) you don't need from the overlay.

I can't get rFDynHUD to work. Seems the d3d9.dll file is crashing rFactor. I load the track, but then it locks up.

Troy - Did you install the d3d9.dll that came with the dynHUD or are you still using the original?

I am using dynHUD too, but with the info really reduced.

I installed the one that came with the new version.

Still crashing, but the log reveals nothing of any importance. It just won't open the overlay.ini file without crashing. The only widget I'm using is the standings widget...hmm...not sure what I can do at this point.
