    Default Makin' Movies/ Videos...HoW?

How in the heck do you make videos in rFactor? I know there's a replay fridge. But mine usually has just a cockpit view. How do people make those multi-angle videos you see on youtube? I have Camtasia Studio and access to an actual 128 track HD audio/video studio. Hahaha... but I've tried makin a video and its always a cockpit view affair. Cool looking, but one camera.

    thanks

In rfactor and all the ISI sims there are camera controls. I think the default is page up to unlock the camera, then the arrow keys to move it around.

Dont know all of them but durring replay hitting (page down) gives you the "TV" cam, and (insert) takes you back to the "cockpit view". I think pressing (home or end) toggles between various car mounted cams.

Also hitting the (+) and (-) on the num pad scrolls thru the different cars.

    Hope this helps.

I'm not sure at the moment which key gets you a cam that can be car-oriented. All the keys on the number pad can then be used to change things...probably all this is covered in the read-me manual thing that came with the game, though I don't know where that is,

There are 2 ways to get to the rfactor manual, and specificly the camera controls.

    1. Start/programs/rFactor/rFactor Manual/Appendix B: Extra Features/ Free roaming track side cameras-spectator cameras

    or

    2. c:\rFactor\Support\rFactor Manual\Appendix B: Extra Features\Free roaming trackside cameras-Spectator cameras
