    Mikey,

Go to the ISI forums and send Gjon a PM about the payment issue and he should get it resolved for you.

Mak Corp is well known for not following through on a lot of their projects.

This true, but I can say their F1 completed mods were very, very good. We used them many times in our F1 leagues over the years. Except then they were known as MMG.

1.) MMG is known for horrible sounds and physics, despite that their 3D Models are very good

2.) rF2 is at least 6 months away from final release and no one knows how big its role will be in simracing scene. Right now it looks like it won't be the big deal everybody hoped, and GTR3, Assetto Corsa and C.A.R.S. are not even released yet. Especially the last one already looks plenty times better and that is only a very early alpha version.

3.) Renders don't really tell anything about the ingame quality. Some examples of amazing renders for games which graphically failed are ToCA Race Driver (DTM Race Driver in Germany) or Racing Legends by West Brothers (which even today in 2012 look out of reach and these renders were released in 2002) but that one wasn't ever released.

4.) Back to MMG, to tell the truth their renders of the 2008 Models for rFactor 1 look axactly the same but their 2008 Mod was graphically just an average mod which mainly was successful because being the only 2008 F1 mod.
