Help Needed: Spotter Plugin

In preparation for the upcoming CMS racing season I've created a new instance of rFactor, updated it to 1255 and was trying to add in the spotter plugin, which I've never installed on my own before, but used it as part of Bob Dunlop's assembly of the Meganes Fun Race package. Unfortunately even though it says that it was successfully installed whenever I try to run the configuration program I get the following error...



Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The screenshot isn't coming up for me Mike (I'm at work though, so who knows). I installed the spotter plugin as part of the FS One F1 mod that's out. I think they have a direct link from that mod page for just the spotter plugin at rFC. It's always worked OK for me, so sorry I can't help much. I like the plugin though... lots of good info that you otherwise wouldn't get.

It has some neat features like the Hudson Kerr skies and Motec and stuff.
It includes a stripped down spotter also.

You will need to add tracks and mods as this has none

I've tried several times and I can't figure out why I keep getting the error message, The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135), yet it works fine on the Meganes load. I'll try using Bob's stripped down version and see what happens. Bob this stripped down version doesn't have the real feel plugin included with it, does it? That particular plug in doesn't work well with my system.

I think it does Mike..but you can just delete the plugin if you like.

i`m going thru and cleaning my working version of rf.
can i delete the following without any bad side affects?
vcredist_x86.exe
in support folder/direct x install
lang/ all but the english versions
