Grid 1.2 is released

Grid Challenge v1.2 has been released. This is not a final version but a step along the way, there'll (probably) be more updates to this along the way.

This release contains 3 cars from Race Driver: Grid - the Jupiter Eagleray fictional stockcar, the Plymouth Barracuda and the Boss Mustang. The Barracuda and the Mustang are available under a 'Classic Trans-Am' class. These two cars have been tuned to vaguely represent the Trans-Am series in 1969 - so that means a 302ci engine for the Boss and a 303.8ci engine for the Barra, both putting out between 475-500HP at 9000rpm. Tire grip for these is similar to the other Historic mod out there, ie very low.

I know the sounds for the Boss and Barra are less than ideal - if anyone wants to do better sounds you have my blessing.

Special thanks to MethylEthyl and the guys at The Pits for allowing me to use the TPSCC engine sounds for the Eagleray.

Templates are also available for all 3 cars.

I'm still very new to this modding business so comments and feedback (constructive only please, no tosspots allowed) is more than welcome.

BTW,about not being able to join the servers,try a TCP optimizer program to get your windows internet settings sorted.There are lots of freeware tools out there that might help.
I will zip the one I use and post it in a thread for you later,look for a thread named "For Joey" later.
