This is it, I'm not screwing with it anymore
Be sure and delete your original track folder as well as the HAT file....just to be sure.
Enjoy...

Cool Tim, I will give it a try a little later tonight.

Tim, I was zonked today after work so ended up taking a veg night ... and didnt get on the computer much. But I promise to login tomorrow night (weds) and give this final update a good test for you and let you know how it is looking. Thanks for all of your efforts on this track and the others. You've added a lot of additional value to rFActor and made it even more fun for all of us.

I definitely concur with David on this Tim! Your efforts in updating these tracks is terrific and makes "so-so" versions of these tracks into something really terrific that I enjoy driving (rather than saying "man, this looks like a game frrm 1999" on some of these conversions).
I drove about 30-40 laps on the track, and set the time to 15X so it would transition to nighttime... I hadn't set that time advance that high before... Went through the whole dusk/sunset, starting to see some of the lights flicker on...The track looks good, and I had no issues with CTD if I hit escape on the track or in the pits, and the cars start in pit lane now rather than back by the port-o-potties. lol
Only a couple of small issues at night (man, is it DARK! lol). I've never tried driving at night in rfactor, so some of this may be the game more than the track. For some reason (my settings probably, or an issue with rfactor more than the track), is that players headlights behind you don't show up on my rearview until they are right on top of me... Makes situational awareness tough!
You need to call maintenance because one light bulb is burned out...Right after the slow right-hander just prior to the long backstretch...
I think we need another light on the slow 90 degree right hand chicane just at the end of the first section. There's a lightpole in the braking zone, but not close enought to the actual chicane to help much. Is there a way to brighten the lights at all? I know they're not like stadium lights, and more like lights in a parking lot by their design/brightness, but in many parts of the track it's almost like you have to drive from memory... Not TOO bright, but maybe a tad brighter and bigger spread of light if possible?
Otherwise I couldn't find any issues! Other than the fact that I left the pits once without turning on my headlights and got fined like $1,000,000
Great job Tim!

I will be issuing an updated GDB file to change the night racing to not being so dark...
Please replace the Sebring.gdb file in your Sebring/Sebring folder with the one attached to this post.
This will change the darkness levels at night...
Cool Tim!! Thanks! I was doing some reading last night on track editing, and is that just the setting in the GDB file that sets the ambient light, to be a little higher? I'm at work, so I'll give it a try tonight.
Tim the track looks really nice!!! I just finished doing some testing with the version that Kevin had posted on the VOR site, which I assume had the new GDB file as well that you posted here. It looks great. The night racing is much better too as far as not being so dark. It was just right from everything I could tell. I do take about a 10 percent frame rate hit at night, but I believe that is an rFActor ISI thing as it happens at all tracks I have read, and it's also an issue in GT Legends. I think this track is ready for a race and I am glad that the VOR admins have decided to run it!!! Going to be really cool. Would love to do some practice on it as soon as we all get a chance. Maybe run a practice race or something as well.
