    Default ES mod - wrong rim color displaying in game

    I'm using the ES mod and created a Porsche 997 skin and modified the genstring to use the BBS black rims. The rim color is correct on the menu/car selection screens, but in game the rims are the default gray/silver. Is there another setting I'm missing?

    My .veh file looks like this:

    DefaultLivery="cgr96_997GT2.dds"
    Extra0="INTWINDOWS"
    Extra3="CPITNUMBER"
    Extra4="CPITSPONSOR"
    Extra5="BBS2"
    Extra6="OZ"
    Extra7="BBS"
    Extra8="BBSBLACK"

    Hi Eric,

    Not sure whats going on that your not seeing the black rims in game. I just loaded up your car and took it for a spin. Rims were black on the spinner and they are also showing as black in the replay as seen in this screenie.

    Huh. Well, that's curious. Thanks for taking a look. I'll do some more digging.

    Eric, dont know if this effects the rim colors or not but what detail level do you run things at? Im running all details high and it worked ok for me?

    That was indeed the issue. I keep mine down for better performance, but after moving the sliders up a bit, it's all good. Now, whether I'll be able to keep it that way with 35 cars on the grid ...

    Actually one of our members did some earlier testing and found that it had more to do with detail levels and tracks than it did the number of vehicles on track, so I would test the detail level you want and do a 90min test race offline and see if it crashes. At some levels he found it would work ok for 15 min and then crash so make sure it will hold up for 90.
