    As I posted in another thread, I am curious because each of these state that the goal is a solid FPS of 60, then which VSync Renderer option do they recommend? They have 3 Choices, Software, Hardware, and GPU.

    If I remember from the days I used to turn on vsync, 2 out of 3 options did not work for me! I think the choice was GPU.

    But it's always a big debate using vsync or not. I would say if your fps is somewhere around 100, I would leave it off. Because if actual fps drops below 60 when it's on you will get choppy game play before it resyncs again. And 40 or so fps buffer is hardly enough as fps (on some tracks) flactuates quite a bit sometimes. For instance when I turn my virtual & regular mirrors on all at same time it makes almost a 50-frame difference vs no mirrors!

    Interesting fact I learned from a fellow CMS member as well as my good friend EaglemanGT aka Gary Huff. Want up to 100+ FPS almost constantly? Get rid of shadows and shadow blur completely. I tried this and my FPS with a complete field of 104 cars was 60 fps on the grid and around 100 FPS during an AI race I did as a graphics test!

    So...after my problems to take part in the Phillip Island race, I reverted to DX9 v1109.
    The track cant be loaded, it keeps crashing. So I was out anyway.
    But I loaded Interlagos and was smooth and fluid with 20+ cars on track. Perfect.
    So yeah, looks like my system hates the DX11 version.

    Looks like Im out of rF2 for the time being.

    I had to clear the shaders on my first attempt loading Philip Island, then it would load.

    I use DX9 v1109 and it works fine. I only use DX9 so I can use the plugins I like. I don't really see and visual difference between DX9 and DX11 on my system.
