    Default Disappearing Mouse Pointer

I just reinstalled rFactor on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I am using the latest nVidia drivers for my two GTX 460 boards in SLI.

Randomly, when going to various setup screens within the game my mouse pointer will disappear! At that point the game is still running, but all I can do is jump back to the desktop and kill the game via Task Manager.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix? BTW, I tried running the game in XP Compatibility Mode.

    Thanks!

What kind of mouse is it? Is it wireless?

If it is a wireless logitech, check to see if there is an updated driver for it.

It's a corded M$ mouse. This has only happened since installing under Win7 64-bit.

Is it a USB Mouse? If so, disable the USB sleep function in power options. You can check for a hardware driver here. Also, if you have an old PS/2 mouse, try that and see if it works. That way can at least narrow it down to it being a USB issue.

I run the same OS on all my machines and although I've never had a mouse issue, I do have issues with other USB devices. Mostly my G35 not loading at startup.

I see USB Selective Suspend and I Disabled that.

I went into the mouse prefs and turned off the option to hide pointer while typing - I doubt this will make a difference, but then again this is a M$ product we're dealing with.

I don't have a PS/2 mouse. This is a relatively new M$ mouse I am using right now.
