Disappearing cars...
I've recently started having a problem where the cars are disappearing, but I still see the driver labels. I was thinking that it might be because I'm not displaying enough cars, but I'm really not sure.
Any Ideas?

Is this occurring at Daytona only, or other tracks? Also, is it online, offline, both, number of other cars on the track?
One other theory is the draw ahead distance some tracks have individually set to reduce the amount of information being shown (a cheap way to get high FPS
)

Troy it happens to me at times too. The car is usually very far off in the distance and as I get closer it reappears. As long as the one you're floowing closely doesn't vanish you should be ok.
Btw, I've noticed it more at tracks that sort of u-turn and the two straights are basically right next to each other.

I haven't noticed it at Daytona (yet) and it never happens off line. I've pretty much had this same issue all season, so I'm doubtful that it is track specific. Although, I'm sure the tracks that have surfaces that run in close proximity to one another probably contribute to this phenomenon, if the amount of cars draw is small (say...around ten, which is what I have it set at now).

I double-checked my settings again and noticed that I'm only displaying eight (8) vehicles. I wonder if that could be the problem.
How many vehicles does everyone else display?

Troy, I have mine set to display 20, and I notice cars in the distance blinking out once and a while.

I just noticed a couple of other odd issues, that may or may not be related. For one, the video in media player doesn't work anymore and Motec doesn't announce that it is on/off when I leave the pits (Works though). I read over at the Pits that this may be related to the rF Lite version, which I'm using...hmmm.
