OK guys, the textures aren't finalized yet, but I compiled everything that James Burroughs and a couple of other guys have done along with some new textures on my part into this:

Not only does this contain an updated Daytona Road Course, but it also includes the Oval, in two configurations...one for the Daytona 500, and one for the Pepsi 400 (at night with lights!)

So...check them out, especially the Road Course along with the new Proto mod that came out. Post some screenshots...make some suggestions...let me know what needs work!

Tim... one word...

WOW!!!!!

I am totally impressed!!! The graphics are amazing and it looks so much more real than any other version I've seen! I stopped at a couple places along the way, and in the pits and coming from the paddock, just to enjoy the view. lol The Sunoco and Nextel signs are SO 3D, the track and textures are good, and all of the little extras along the track are 10X better than any I've seen at other tracks... Campers, signs, even the far off horizon and buildings ouside of the stands looks freakin' accurate and amazing!! Even the ferris wheel works correctly, moves, and the lights on it change colors as I'm driving by!! I wrecked trying to watch it!!

The Protons are a little rough (understatement) on the banking, but I didn't try and tweak a setup... I think I wore out the underside of the car all the way through to the floorboard. Only a couple of small issues, but we can discuss tomorrow night (shadows of cars wrong on the banking in some places, etc).

Hell of a job buddy!! When this comes out, it's gonna be a big hit. I meant to ask, but are you or WGTL ever going to release the updated versions of Sebring, RA, and others that you've worked on? You should release them at some point (all together), and blow people away! Tim C. will be a legend in the rFactor community... hehe
