Usually I don’t do much advertising on league events but when sim racers have a shot at some serious prize money completely for free, it’s very well worth a mention.

ProSimRacing is running a tournament celebrating their two year anniversary. The tournament will be using Enduracer’s Epsilon Euskadi mod on Mid Ohio by Virtua_LM and the event is still open for drivers to sign up. All that is required is a free account at ProSimRacing, giving you the chance to fight for the prize money of $500!

Qualifying will be held Monday to Friday with the heat races and the final run to be held on Saturday and Sunday. Aside from the cash prize, the main races will also be live streamed on PSRTV, giving the competing racers plenty of exposure. Follow this link for more info and to sign-up for the event.

Well I qualified for the main event today. I finished 5th in my heat event. Here is the broadcast from my heat.

It's going to be fun but I don't have anything for the top guys. I'm 2 seconds slower than the guys running up front. There are some awesome drivers in this event!

It was a great race with some absolutely awesome drivers. I qualified 23rd and drove as fast as I knew how. I didn't put a wheel off the surface and stayed as consistent as I could and pulled off a 16th place finish. Not quite what I was hoping for but I'm happy with it considering the amount of time I put in practicing and developing my setup. (not much, maybe 60 or 70 laps of practice total)

So it was a super fun event to be a part of and the broadcasts were really cool to watch. I hope they have more events in the future!
