I've got that irritating "air wrench" noise on a seperate install and i think i remember someone here having a fix for it. I believe it was an ambiant sound file?
thanks in advance

Good "bump", I just came looking for this...thanks!

Hey guys,
I have been using a seperate "clean" install of rFactor Lite for each season here at CMS and one for a few other mods.
Somewhere along the line I picked up that irritating wheel gun loop as well at certain tracks. I just replaced it with the ones your talking aboout and while it "IS" better I still found the airhorns quite distracting. So...just out of curiosity I went to my very 1st install of the original full version of rfactor, copied all the ambiant sound files into my current install and every thing is now perfect, no looping wheel gun, no airhorn nonsense , just a low level pleasant croud noise.
Now, since the original "fan_normal.wav" does not have that irritating wheelgun loop, my question is...where did it come from in the 1st place?
Another observation: It seems that all my installs of rFactor Lite are missing many of the ambiant sounds files that come in the full version. Examples: airhorns_1.wav, airhorns_2.wav, airhorns_3.wav, announcer_1.wav, and pithorn.wav.
Anyone else notice this?
