I wont be downloading or supporting it. This is one more reason, but the primary one is I could give a rat's ass about running NASCAR right now![]()

I'm with you on that option, DA!!! Even more so with Joel Ladayni involved in any way.
I have downloaded the exe update. Will I be able to point it to my Nascarmod version of rFactor that is NOT in the default directory or will it install into my good fFactor and mess it up?
Thanks.
Ricky
As I understand it you can drop the executable into the same base folder as the rFactor install you want to upgrade and it will only upgrade that one. So if you have c:\rfactor as example, and c":\rfactor_nascar, put it in the second one and it will not affect the first one.
The other option (if it allows you), is to specifically browse to the install you want to patch and it should not touch the other one.
Does that make sense?

Yes that makes sense. Thanks David.
Rob, did you get this to work with the update? I installed the update but now I can't get the sim to load. I get an error before the game loads completely.
The sim loads Ricky but the cars are all screwed up.
I guess I will have to wait for the final version. I even did a fresh install of rfactor and it still gives me the error.
